Douglas rolls out the Spider on
its way to Idaho
Idaho Housing and Finance Association’s President and Executive
Director, Gerald Hunter, announces that Douglas Peterson has joined The
Housing Company as Director of Housing Development and Property
Management.
Peterson oversees The Housing Company, a nonprofit group created by
IHFA in 1990 to provide rental-housing options for Idaho residents. THC
is dedicated to preserving Idaho’s existing affordable housing stock,
facilitating development of new housing in under-served areas
throughout Idaho, and providing quality professional property
management for developments in its portfolio.
As Director of Housing Development and Property Management, Peterson is
responsible to find potential development opportunities for affordable
housing throughout Idaho, provide oversight to the management of THC’s
23 existing multifamily properties, and arrange financing to make
affordable housing fiscally viable.
